Dr. Hagen Gunther Jung is an environmental geochemist & geologist and became the executive director of GeoEnergy Consult. 

Hagen looks back to more than twenty years experience in the (nuclear) industry, in academia as well as in relevant regulatory authorities. He held responsible positions with a focus on international cooperation with various countries worldwide in fields like radioactive waste management and NORM. Since years Hagen has been supporting also the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

As geoscientist Hagen specializes on mining & processing of (NORM-affected) raw materials and through his broad nuclear capabilities – e.g. in environmental safety, decontamination, waste treatment/disposal, decommissioning, legacy remediation etc. – he can provide essential support to projects and operations. Moreover, his regulatory experiences enable him to identify feasible solutions to get permitted and operate both efficient and compliant.

Beyond his professional skills also (risk) communication, project management and commercial exposure round off Hagen’s experiences.
